Cinzia delorenzi company is a multiform and composite universe whose active core is formed by the choreographer Cinzia Delorenzi as the artistic director and the performers Matteo Bologna, Marta Lucchini, Eleonora Parrello as dance theatre stage artists that share the artistic project on an ongoing basis. Around the company core there is a network of relations that participate in the artistic process: performers, artists, video-makers, musicians are called to collaborate on each production to enrich the creative process in continuity with the choreographer’s view.

Cinzia delorenzi company’s work develops from the attendane of the rehearsing place as a form of listening and open question rather than from a prior conceptual research. Notes and impressions from the present time, individual resonance on everyday life, the contact with the body, with perception and imagination indicate a trace for a creative research about the body paths in the space.
The imaginary meets the real, present, contemporary, everyday time, tracing a sensible and physical approach to the creative matter in progress instead of a logic-narrative sense. The work proceeds through successive waves and rebounds towards a metabolism of the present in which irony and lightness calibrate the depth generated by dramatic contrasts.
The versatile character of the company has brought to the creation and production of site specific performances (Io sono qui, 2008), stage productions (Tu sei una parte di me – Preview, 2010; Tu sei una parte di me, 2011) and urban site specific events (Take this Waltz, cross-generation exchange project, 2011).
